SMOKE x Last Prisoner Project

May 18 - May 25, 2022
Jason Jacques Gallery, Chelsea/New York City, NY

Situated in a provocative, thematic environment designed by Rick Owens, the exhibition centers on seventeen contemporary artists and designers' responses to a 19th century smoking set made by the French jeweler Boucheron— a beautiful but troubling art object with a complex history relevant to many of the issues we encounter today, including attitudes towards the idea of "intoxication" as well a pervasive fear of, yet inexplicable attraction to, the "Other." Featuring 17 contemporary makers, find you more at JasonJacquesGallery.com

Firefest 2022

April 1 - April 2, 2022
Gregg Museum of Art & Design, Raleigh, NC

As a presenter this year, it was fun to show work with the other fabulous Firefest contributors and wonderful artists in the Starworks community. Starworksnc.org

Reflection Tea

January 21 - March 25, 2022
Craft Alliance, St. Louis, MO

Reflection Tea: The 18th Annual Teapot Biennale is about sharing tea culture. Curated by Stefanie Kirkland and Fong Choo, the selected artists are asked to share their stories and tea. Fong and I will be giving a teapot workshop together, bringing different perspectives to teapot creation. We've talked about doing this for over a decade and it promised to be lots of fun. More info on the exhibition and workshop at Craft Alliance.

Sokyo Gallery

January 7 - February 26, 2022
Sokyo Gallery, Kyoto, Japan

I am excited and honored to celebrate this special time of year in Japan with a solo exhibition at the renowned Sokyo Gallery in Kyoto. Many thanks go to the wonderful people who's efforts have created this opportunity, including the staffs at Sokyo Gallery and Jason Jacques Gallery in New York.
